DHR to celebrate one year anniversary at QR

After a year spent rocketing up the grid and accumulating stunning results, Dark Horse Racing will make their return to Queensland Raceway on the July 18-19-20 weekend, once again racing in support of the Australian V8 Supercar round, albeit with 12 months of competitive experience behind them.

The team, having raced at the likes of Bathurst and Oran Park during their debut year on the Mazda MX5 grid, are looking forward to continue the form that has seen their reputation compounded as one the top Production Sports Car teams in the country.

With a broad spread of venues and experiences to draw upon, Dark Horse Racing’s freshly-21-year-old driver Ash Miller is confident about his prospects.

“Alot has happened in the year since we first hit the track for the V8 round last year’”, Miller said.

“We’ve been all over the eastern coast; Oran Park, Wakefield Park, Bathurst, Morgan Park, it’s an impressive list of circuits to have gained experience on, but I’m confident that what we’ve learn from competing at these places has made me a much better driver, and us a much better team. On top of that, Queensland Raceway is our home track, and we’ve done a large majority of our testing there, so the circuit knowledge is certainly much better than last year. This time last year I’d never done more than about 20 laps there, now it’s somewhere over 100. Everything I’ve learnt about the team, the car, and myself, will all help come the V8 weekend. I’m confident and I can’t wait!”

With the constant development on the car continuing to reap rewards and claw the stunning black machine closer to the clean air at the pointy end of the field, the team is looking forward to showing well in front of the Australian racing community’s most important personalities.

Keep an eye out for the crew and car of the #94 squad; don’t be shy and come and give Ash Miller and his boys a hello!
