DHR set to take on cream of Australia’s MX5 crop

Just days out from the second annual Mazda MX5 Nationals, Ash Miller and Team DHR are leaving no stone unturned in preparing for what is tipped as the biggest race of the Queensland team’s racing year.
Fresh off the back of securing the CUE One Hour Endurance Series class 2F crown with a round left to run, Dark Horse Racing are hoping to carry that momentum to Goulburn’s Wakefield Park.
“I’m looking forward to getting on track and really giving it everything,” DHR’s Ash Miller said.
“We haven’t turned a wheel there since 2007, and the car is very different now to what it was back then, so it’ll be interesting to see how it goes around there this time around.”
DHR snatched 3rd place in the inaugural MX5 Nationals held at Morgan Park last year, facing tough opposition to fight their way to the podium. What are their 2010 hopes?
“We’d love to go a couple better, and that’s our ultimate goal,” Miller said.
“But we’ve just to go see how it goes.”
Keep an eye out for updates!
