DHR announce launch at Lakeside

Dark Horse Racing are set to launch their 2011 season, and reveal their challenger, at Lakeside Raceway on Saturday the 19th of February.
After months of speculation and careful behind-the-scenes planning, DHR are finally ready to hit the track, in an interim-spec car, ahead of their 2011 assault on the CUE One Hour Endurance Series.
2010 brought almost unprecedented success for DHR, as their now-for sale MX5 charger clean swept the Class 2E championship, taking home second place overall for the 2010 series. Now, with new machinery and a new challenge, coupled with a new driver, 2011 looks to be the most exciting yet.
“It’s great to have a new challenge, and I’m really thrilled to be a part of this new outfit – even more so that they asked to carry the Dark Horse Racing number 94 banner onwards,” Miller said.
As to what Miller and driver John Prefontaine will be driving, all will be announced come Saturdays test session.
The team will be on track at Lakeside from 9am to Midday – come and check out DHR’s exciting new direction for 2011, and come and say hi to the team!
Miller back on track for 2011 – but not as you’d expect…
by Ash on Jan.31, 2011, under Uncategorized
As the opening month of 2011 ends quicker than Kimi Raikkonen’s last rally attempt, Ash Miller and Dark Horse Racing are continuing their plans for the upcoming racing year – with some exciting developments on the cards.
In the wake of an ultra-successful four-year stint in the premier Mazda MX5 and Production Sports Car series’ races, Miller’s MX5 racing run has come to an end, with the car now up for sale for any interested buyers.
“It’s been a great learning curve and a hugely fun way to go racing,” Miller commented.
“It’ll be sad to see it go after doing so much in it, but as always there are greater things to come.”
2011′s plans are indeed looking great – with speculation rife about where Miller will be driving for season 2011, he isn’t giving anything away.
“We have a few options we’re looking at, which are all very exciting and all definitely a step in the right direction – as to what, though, we’re keeping that under wraps!”
It has been confirmed that Ash Miller and DHR will be on track for the year – when, where and in what, will be revealed in the near future.
